Our journey with this service didn’t begin as entrepreneurs but as parents facing an unimaginable challenge. In 2017, our beautiful daughter Amiyah-Leigh was born. Just three hours old, she began having seizures. Her blood sugars were unrecordable, and we were immediately thrown into a terrifying and emotional rollercoaster.
Amiyah was rushed to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where she spent five incredibly difficult weeks fighting for stability while doctors searched for answers.
That period marked the start of a long journey towards a diagnosis.
Eventually, we learned she has a rare condition called panhypopituitarism, which affects the pituitary gland and requires lifelong medication and careful monitoring.
The Problem We Faced
As her parents, we quickly realised just how critical it is for medical professionals to have instant access to accurate, up-to-date information — especially during emergencies. Every time we met a new doctor, paramedic, or nurse, we found ourselves repeatedly explaining Amiyah’s condition, her medications, and her needs from scratch.
